The Priority of Relationship

Are you aware that preaching the gospel isn’t always the first priority of a Believer.  Sometimes the things we DO as Believers yields to the need for relationships among Believers.

When the Apostle Paul found himself with an open door to preach the Gospel, he left the opportunity behind to reconnect with Titus.  He made a decision based on the priority or relationship not results.  He was guided by his spirit, not the circumstances before him.  Once he restablished relationship with Titus, the ministry continued.

In the Kingdom of God who you minister with is often as important as where and how you minister.  In this message Paul Steiner reminds us of the gospel of Christ, the priority of relationship, and the choices that are inherent in developing deep relationships.

“When I came to Troas to preach the gospel of Christ, even though a door was opened for me in the Lord,my spirit was not at rest because I did not find my brother Titus there. So I took leave of them and went on to Macedonia.”  2 Corinthians 2:12-13
