The Lord would ask…

Barb shared this word with us during a Sunday morning service in January.  We share it here to encourage you.

The Lord would ask, “Are you willing to let me in to the areas of your life where you didn’t understand where I was?  I am near to the broken hearted. I am here.  Let me be your shield and strong tower.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run in it and are safe (Proverbs 18:10).

For You have been a shelter for me, a strong tower from the enemy. (Psalm 61:3)

God wants to absolutely take our hand and walk us through those difficult dark times and struggles we have been through and take us into victory and understanding in a very deep way. He wants to teach us how to run under the shelter of his wings.

He would have us meditate on Psalm 91 this season and understand who He is and His covering and protection, “He shall call upon me and I WILL answer him; I WILL be with him in trouble; I WILL deliver him and honor him.”

He is taking us to a place of understanding who he is.

  1. AS WE endeavor to stay STILL- and continually SEEK His Presence in the times of the day where the path becomes terrifically narrow, only the sure-footed travel without slowing to a stop… He IS there to lead. He will always take the lead as we slow to be led. As our eyes are fixed upon His Presence, the Way is clear. The Way has been cleared.
